Disaster at home? The tax cuts dropped my marginal tax rate by 2% giving me another $1500.00 in my pocket. Not to mention the child credits of $500.00 more per child. In all, I have $3000.00 more in my pocket because of the tax cuts.
Those cuts have created record high federal revenues and record high corporate income taxes.
His two selections to the Supreme Court have been excellent and will be there for 20 years or more.
That, for me, has been a HUGE success domestically. No President can get everything done but what he has accomplished has been hugely successful. Economy firing on all cylinders. That's all I need to make my way through this great country - a healthy free enterprise system. Bush has delivered that to me.
Asking for anything more is just whining.
I think the MSM is trying to correlate "wish did better" with not vote for republican.
The deep honest truth is I would vote for GWBush over ANY of the Rinos (mccain, rudy, whitless, etc) or ANY democrat (period) even with my disagreements.
It doesn't bother you that he and the GOP congress spend faster than the Clinton administration? I like my tax cuts too but just imagine where this country would be if he had even limited spending growth to the rate of inflation much less cutting spending. See the chart in post #136.
