"Conservatives crash and burn strategy isn't going to send a message to the gop it will turn the whole store over to pelosi. Stay home and have a pelosi democrat elected in wyoming. That will really show them."

I don't know what conservative "strategy" you're talking about. Conservatives I know, including myself, should, and will, support conservative Republicans. Barbara Cubin appears to be quite conservative. I don't know why her poll numbers are not higher, but I doubt it is because she has lost support among conservatives.

I don't know why it is so hard for some to grasp the idea that many conservatives will not support liberals, even if Republican, but will strongly support conservatives, who are mostly Republican. There's nothing "crash and burn" about it. It's merely a recognition that supporting Republicans, even if they are liberal, just because they are Republican, has gotten us into a mess where the Democrats are actually stronger because they can count on the RINO votes added to theirs.

Voting for someone who shares your principles is the time honored way to secure a government "of the people". I find this superior to a government "by the party".

Cubin's problems are personal and not partisan. She has become something of an embarrassment for past behavior and poor quotes, which got worse when someone on her staff decided to start leaking her lame jokes and inappropriate comments to Roll Call in 2001 or 2002.

If this seat becomes the Democrats' 218th in the House, she will have a lot of explaining to do.

ACU rating for Cubin: 97 lifetime; 96 in 2005; and 100 for 2004. Her rating is higher than either Enzi or Thomas.
