I believe a Massachusetts teacher justified a homosexually-oriented elementary school curriculum solely on the basis that marriage between people of the same sex was legal in Massachusetts now.
It was implimented by the former Republican governor, Paul Celucci, I think it got discontinued because it was disturbing.
