Hollow points are not illegal in NJ. They sell them at the Ray's Sporting Goods on Rt 22.

That said, I was told when I bought them that if I shot someone in my house with them I'd go to jail as they were intended to KILL. I thought to myself, if I am shooting this gun in my house I intend to kill what I'm shooting at.
