Good question. What part of "illegal" don't many Conservatives (and Republicans) understand?

Cute. However, you didn't answer the question.

Again, why do we come apart and and eat our own over this issue? Illegal meant illegal last time I checked, but still, why do we on the Right do this?

The answer would be the huge difference of positions on the issue within the movement. There is no other issue where conservatives are this far apart in their positions. Object to tone of the fight fine but this fight is totally justified.

Don't mean to butt in, but the answer seems simple enough, at least on this issue on this forum. The power(s) that be are(were?) out of sync with ~95% of conservatives, not to mention a large majority of the nation. The very small minority of open borders types have been give wide latitude in their ad hominem attacks against the "secure borders" majority because the boss(es) was/were on their side?

The 5% or so became emboldened to press their attacks. Attacks not based on any particular principle that I've been able to determine save "it's no big deal".

Your tagline is astonishingly good. I really like it.
