from the official Girl Scout site: http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_central/promise_law/

The Girl Scout Promise DOES contain God, while the Law does not. As for the liberal causes, well, yeah. But there are strong pockets of resistance to that within the organization. As a former staff member of our local Council, I can personally vouch for the resistance!

Girl Scout Promise and Law

The Girl Scout Promise and Law are shared by every member of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout Promise is the way Girl Scouts agree to act every day toward one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

* The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate.

>>“We felt it's important girls can substitute the word 'God' with whatever is comfortable to them or their families,” Girl Scouts spokeswoman Marion Swan said. “We are very proud of the fact we are a very inclusive organization.” <<

How about replacing it with the word "Satan?" I guess that the Scouts would be okay with that, huh?

That GS Promise and Law has already been re-written privately by the jihadis. When there are enough jihadis in the GS they will change it to look a little something like this:

Girl Scout Promise and Sharia

The Girl Scout Promise and Sharia are shared only by every Muslim member of Girl Scouting.
The Girl Scout Promise is the way Muslim Girl Scouts agree to act every day toward one another but not to infidels, and the Sharia outlines the only way to act towards one another and promote jihad to the Dar al-Harb (infidel world).

The Muslim Girl Scout Promise

On my honor (slay me if I lose it), I will try:
To serve Allah* and my Umma,
To help Muslim people only at all times,
And to live by the Muslim Girl Scout Sharia.

The Muslim Girl Scout Sharia

I will do my best to be
dishonest and unfair,
unfriendly and unhelpful,
inconsiderate and uncaring,
spineless and weak, and
responsible for what I say and do
by being allowed to be beaten and/or killed,

and to respect myself and others
by being allowed to be beaten and/or killled,

respect authority
or face being beaten and/or killed,

use resources wisely
or face being beaten and/or killed,

make the world a better place at the cost of my own life by being beaten and/or killed,

and be a sister to every Muslim Girl Scout
who should be beaten and/or killed if she does not follow the Sharia.

* The word "Allah" can NOT be interpreted in a number of ways, regardless of one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Muslim Girl Scout Promise, it is NOT okay to replace the word "Allah" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate. Any other name will NOT be tolerated and punishable by death. There is only one Allah and One Prophet, Mohammed, peace be upon him.

That is the problem. Is the resistance gaining any ground?
