the fact that it left out the resurrection really bothered me.

The resurrection scenes at the end of the movie were the most powerful part of the movie.

You ought to watch it again.

I don't think I could watch it again and apparently I really did fall asleep before the end because I don't remember much of the movie except the beatings.
