"Someone has got to stop being an apologist for 'business owners' who commit felonies on a daily basis."

The House bill addresses this by requiring business's to phone all applicants into a national data base. This insures that the applicant is legit and makes them more responsible. I am sure a lot of the problem we are having with big business getting "a break" in the discussion on FR has been from paid lobbyists.

All this screaming about "Amnesty" is a diversion IMHO. The house bill says nothing about a amnesty or a guest worker program.

The House bill doesn't, but the Senate bill does. Reconciling those two positions isn't going to happen IMO.

But I'll wait and see what the President has to say Monday night.
