Yeah I am amazed at the housing cocts in California. I don't know how people do it. I have thought about auctioning off my house on EBAY at say 1/2 California prices minus the costs of moving it there. I wonder what a 3000 sq ft house 10 years old would go for out there.

It's the price of the land, getting more scarce all the time... a 3000 sq foot house in a decent area would go for around a million dollars on a postage stamp lot.

Smaller start a one million.
I live near condos starting at 1/2 million a unit to 4 million dollars a unit.
