How about we actually hold congress to their promise in 86 that THAT amnesty be the last and that they - and the president - honor their own promise and beign to enforce the law? No 'lets be realistic' or 'but its impossible' arguments.

Part of the problem is getting them to use words correctly. Have you heard John McCain discuss this? He says things like "Amnesty is forgiveness - this isn't forgiveness, its a path to citizenship."
