If Bush wants to score points on Monday night he should leave out the Amnesty dribble. Americans clearly are not interested in that part.

Leave it out? Like he is choosing from a Chinese menu? That is what he believes. This is an insulting ploy to shut up the conservatives, as well as a vast majority of the rest of the citizenry.

I agree with you. I can agree on some sort of "Guest Worker" program, but not one of these illegals should ever be given a path to USA citizenship. After these ungrateful morons marched on the "communist" labor day "May 1st" I have no use for any of them. After a short period of guest workership send them all back from where they came. If GW Bush has any brains at all, he will abandon his quest for these people getting citizenship down the road, Let them go back to their home country and get in line like everyone else. If not, he and the Republican Party are deader than a door nail. End of story!!!

He will not mention the word "amnesty." Instead, you will hear him couch that term in the word "guest worker' or some other nice sounding rhetoric.

"...the president's stand will run headlong into a House bill, passed in December, that would make illegal immigrants felons and build hundreds of miles of fence along the Mexican border without offering avenues to legality for undocumented workers."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He's throwing out a red herring....suggesting a "virtual fence", not real rebar and concrete.
