Never would have thought I'd see the day an American president was against buying American

Well gee how come don't you dump on the people who buy Toyotas or Mercedes or people who use foreign born labor to build a basement theater in their house, ala tom tancredo.

People need to look at what that the , well intentioned but stupid, bill would do.

You can buy almost nothing today that doesn't have some sort of foreign content, President Bush is 100% correct in saying he would veto this.

Apply the same bill to any company in America and it would shut them down!

Limiting the military to buying goods made in America is not in the best interest of our military. In addition, the Commander in Chief should be free to go to reliable foreign sources if necessary.

How many of the critics on this thread shop at WalMart and buy Chinese made goods, thus funding the build up of the People's Liberation Army?
