thou shalt not bait the bush bots!
Funny how the "Real Conservatives" are all pissed about Federal Spending, Govt Regulations and micromanagement of the Economy right up to the point someone pushes one of their ignorance based emotional hot buttons, then they demand the Govt micromanage EVERYTHING and spend endlessly to gratify their own rabid paranoia and gutlessness.
Gee amazing how totally afraid of the whole world you people are. Guess you don't realize they are smarter then you. None of them have ANY interest in moving into your trailer park.

COMMENT:
More Globaloney from the White House.
I think we need to push this issue...and override his veto...
It is telling that his only veto-threats...are aimed against measures that defend American preparedness.
Pushing this will detach him from the subterfuges and stalking horses he deploys....especially since he is hanging his hat on the "repeatedly affirmed by Congress" dodge. As if they had been paying attention while having their palms greased by import lobbyists.
If the Congress snaps out of its slumber, and represents the People as it is supposed to do, the President will not have the "affirmance" of Congress dodge to hind behind anymore. His doctrinnare globalist ideology will be isolated as the sole reason...and exposed.
And our own defense procurements should not now, or ever be, driven by the concern for "access to foreign markets". We need to deploy what we need. No ifs. No buts. No "red tape."
As Nancy Reagan once said of an analogous insidious mind-set accommodating self-destructive behavior...just say no.
No more betrayal of America and its preparedness.
Meanwhile, ignoring this very real issue of national survival and the President's willful misfeasance on it...look how bereft of political ideas the RINOS have become...:
Republicans seek bumper sticker issues
By Holly Yeager in Washington
Financial Times, Published: May 11 2006Anyone who wondered just how worried Republicans were about November's mid-term elections could have found a clear indication on display in Washington on Wednesday afternoon, in a cramped meeting room in the bowels of the Capitol.
Two dozen members of the House of Representatives including most of the Republican leadership stood before a sign that read "The Suburban Agenda", and promised fast action on a set of proposals they said suburban families cared about, such as protecting open spaces and fighting gangs and online predators.
