The Republicans have the message. Your glee in the defeat of "guestworker" politician only helps the Democraps. As you seem to want. What will be the position of people like you when the Democraps set the border policy?

Democrats are setting the policy. Along with RINO's like Hagel and McCain. And then there is the administration.

All on the same side in what they are pressing for.

If you want to argue Democrats will cause damage elsewhere, fine, do that. Mention they'll hike taxes. It's true. But there is nothing the Dems will do on immigration that haven't been done or they are trying to back against the will of the American people right now. It's an empty threat.

Nevermind your position doesn't even make sense. Materials were posted above against the proposition that enabling law breakers is a losing position at the polls. In a Dem town the city council members were tossed out. An incumbent came in second in a primary against a strong border proponent. A popular opponent lost against a Governor that took a stand on illegal immigration. heck, let's not even forget Arnold and Cali! he may be singing differently now, but Grey was tossed over handing out driver's licenses to aliens and Arnold promised to revoke the law. A republican won in Cali on this issue alone. Add it up and we have conservatives and Dems uniting around enforcing the law to the point even incumbents will be thrown out of power.

I think a TRUE guest worker program would work with the public.

GUEST MEANS GUEST. No "earned citizenship" code for amnesty.

have two year contracts where the person MUST return home after the two years in order to be eligible for future visa applications.
