A popular opponent lost against a Governor that took a stand on illegal immigration. heck, let's not even forget Arnold and Cali! he may be singing differently now, but Grey was tossed over handing out driver's licenses to aliens and Arnold promised to revoke the law. A republican won in Cali on this issue alone. Add it up and we have conservatives and Dems uniting around enforcing the law to the point even incumbents will be thrown out of power.
