Read the article on CNN, over 40% sampled were Rublicans and 20%+ were Dems.

This is not a remotely accurate poll.

So, do you think that the Republicans who voted in favor of this bill or not aware of this fact? For all I know, democrats will hold up bills only to stop one amendment.

More thinking on the terms that a vote may not be 'black and white' for or against the amendment. Some may be voting for or against simply as principle on the amendment itself. Others may be voting for or against because of how it was presented and they would rather have it as a stand-alone bill..

Spin, the Democrats killed bills in the past only to stop drilling in Alaska!

"If you are a conservative republican, you may want to note the above and vote appropriately if said names stand for re-election."

That's fine for folks who live in these traitors states, but also helpful would be for out-of-state people to send money to any Republican challengers to this list.

You must understand that the majority in Congress (either house) is decided by LIBERAL/CONSERVATIVE division and NOT REPUBLUICAN/DEMOCRAP!

Vote them ALL out of office! They're a disgrace to their country and unfit for the high office which they hold on our behalf.

Whereas a Zogby poll is out that says differently.

http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1111

My question to you is whether I should embrace Zogby because it's closer to the result I would like, or retain a shred of integrity and not embrace the result of a polster I have discreited in past.

And if I should ignore Zogby to maintain my own credibility, should not people that like CNN do the same to retain theirs?

Zogby and CNN are jokes.

Rass is credible. Until he polls with results verified through a few weeks of polling, I accept we have no credible polling. People are embracing the results they want to happen by embracing polls they have previously trashed.

I can also see why it isn't just so black and white.

Almost like it was engineered that way huh?

I wish that just one senator had the guts to put forth a stand alone resolution type bill that would force the Senate to take a side in a simple yes or no statement as to support or lack of it for enforcement of our border thru any means needed.

John Kerry is good at those kind of bills aint he? He He.

Methinks we are speaking a different language on this one... My question is not an excuse or an issue of support, mine is a question as to why, when the bill (amendment) on the surface seems so obviously supportable...

Time to send DeWine and Voinovich another letter.

Yeah. And make it a very strongly worded one.

Do you really think letters are going to change these guys minds? They have been told what to do, or else.

I find it difficult to believe that for the first time in CNN's history they over-sampled Republicans. Despite what you posted.

I'm not saying you're lying; I think they are.

I support and accept one poll. The one in 'writing' on voting day :)

The GOP is finished.

Every end is a new beginning.

Maybe we can kill the 'old' GOP and build a new one.

Running for President -- doesn't want a flip/flop on his record and knows darn well if he voted his heart on this thing he'd be toast in the primaries.

I don't know. There's plenty of illegals here in Alabama, too.

That is a reasonable position. LOL

I can respect that position.

What I can't really respect is people accepting a poll they don't value on average because they like the results.

Hence my critisism of any side that chooses to embrace Zogby or CNN right now.
