This was troops, they were so stressed out, they went into houses and killed children, women and children. 24 people they killed. Now this is the kind of stress they are under. Listen, I don't excuse it, but I understand what's happening and the responsibility goes right to the top. This is something that should not have happened, that should have been investigated, they've already relieved three commanding officers...but this is the kind of stuff...stress is going to cause these kind of things. That's why I'm so upset about it.

The only wickedness there is to see is Murtha. And yes, we ALL dare to smear this piece of crap who calls himself a vet. This has nothing to do with his 'status' as a veteran. This has to do with the fact that he has sold his soul to the devil and is trying to pay the bill with our troops.

Frankly, Sir, you are filled with wickedness. The Free Republic web site is filled with good conservatives and many of faith. We support our troops and their loved ones. I don't believe you are either a conservative or a person of faith to make the statement you have.
I don't care if Murtha has received every medal there is in the military. Men in the military do not say our Marines are guilty on TV (not do mention MSNBC with Chris Matthews who has made it clear he hates everything about our people fighting for freedom) when there is an active investigation into this matter.
You should hold your powder. Let us wait and see how this comes out, then you could send your speel.

If your father has not, he should look into the Gamewardens of Vietnam. I think there are more PBR's sailors there than in any other veteran's organization. I have gone to a couple of their reunions and they are great people. I served on a support LST for deployments to Seafloat and Solid Anchor in 1970 and 1971.
