The question is what is the motivation of the GOP? Are they all Rocefeller Republicans.

The question is what is the motivation of the GOP? The GOP is split on this issue. House conservative Republicans have crafted and passed the best bill to date. House conservative Senators have now rejected the President position via their votes on bills crafted by Leftist Republican Senators and Leftist Democrats. We know why Dimwits and Rino's want amnesty or as McCain now calls it 'a banana'. The question is why has Bush destroyed what little support remained for him in the country for a handful of illegal Mexicans ?

I think a lot of these R. Pols would LIKE to be in the minority. The perks would be just as good and they wouldn't be expected to actually produce anything.
The question is what is the motivation of the GOP?
