Same here. (That's probably why your post caught my eye.) There comes a point when you've stayed up too late to go to bed. I have errands to run at the start of business, but once their done, NAP TIME!!!
I just got these stats from CHP and LAPD. They are statistics from the day of the great Illegal immigrant protest. They were taken from SWITRS which is a police reporting data base for gathering stats. I listed some of the highlights.
CHP... record low accident reduction -73%
record low auto theft reduction -82%
record low citations issued -69%
LAPD... violent crime reduction (murders, assaults, robbery) -48%
malicious mischief (tagging, theft, vandalism) -88%
domestic violence -77%
They should protest every day!!!!!!!!!

But whatever you do do not engage them directly. Any person who would stoop so low as to compare an attempt to enforce American law to the actions of a regime that is responsible for the murders of 60 million people deserves nothing but your contempt.
Ignore them. Shun them.
Then get angry and contact your Representative and demand that the Senate bill die in the Reconciliation committe.
When you call your Rep remember Dane comparing securing our border to the actions of the East German border guards and the thousands they murdered.
When you write your Rep remember Dane making a mockery of Ronald Reagans words to the Soviet leadership regarding the enslavement of millions of people.
And when you vote remember Dane and his utter contempt for the brave men and women who risk their lives to see that Constitutionally passed laws are enforced.
That is the proper response to people like that.

Your analogy using the Berlin wall makes no sense at all.
The real analogy would be if we built a wall to keep our people from escaping to Mexico, then we would have a situation approximating that of the "Wall". A fence to protect our border from the illegal aliens using it at will, and against our laws, hardly compares.
Can your ideas be put into a one paragraph explanation?
