Do you think a person might have to have a compromised immune system to come down with it?

Well, my only thought is as I read about fungus's, you may be on to something, but that should be left to those who really know, no me. Diabetes and poor circulation can cause out breaks of some fungus's and even weakened immune systems. How they say this is not contagious while not knowing where or from whom or what it comes from is what baffles me.
