Check out a book titled "The Victory of Reason" by Ronald Stark. He does a masterful job of tracing the efforts of individuals and the progress of western civilization.

This crap is straight out of the Russian revolution. They want to control the language so they can control how people think. You want to change the way people think change the language. Those that don't change can be dealt with as eneimes of the state and shuffled of to a psych ward or prison. Hell, our own government uses this approach (willing workers with willing employers).
