> I like Mort. A reasonable Democrat.

I wish I could agree with you, because most of all, he's not very smart. I always start yelling back at him when he's on the tube. Who or what gave Mort the right to be a pundit?

Yes. I can't remember exactly when they got married, but it was announced during Beltway Boys IIRC. He seemed slightly giddy and sported a perceptible levity that made me very happy for him.

I'm going to stick up for Mort here. I think he is very smart, and sometimes talks himself out of common sense. Are you sure you are not talking about Juan? (Who is smarter than he appears when sitting across from Brit of course.)

Dang! I was just musing today about what would have happened if The New York Slimes had published details about the codebreaking programs in WWII...

Good show MOR-TON!

"But the fundamental problem infecting much of Congress, the media and the political class -- especially those left of center -- is that they are consumed with loathing for President Bush and all his works and are prepared to do anything to undermine him, even if it makes the country less safe. "

Exactly. The situation is dire, and yet Democrats put thier party before their country. And this is why I have come to hate (HOCK...SPIT) many, many Democrats. I don't know if it is a sin or an obligation to hate Democrats but either way I hate them. I have no respect for them at all, None. I pretend to respect them but it is fake because down deep inside, I hate them. I would fight them in the streets if it came to that.

Mort's an idiot. I stopped watching Brit Hume because of his (and his buddy's) sucking up to Bush on the illegal alien invasion.

Tell me he is wrong in what he said here.

Also, I have seen him make some reasonable points on other matters and while I don't care for all his positions the fact is he is certainly more reasonable than a lot of other Democrats.

"It IS the end times, lies are treated as truth, evil as good, Democrats are touted as fiscally responsible, and now I agree with Mort. What is next; dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria? ;)"

Good quote from Ghostbusters.

Okay, broken clock syndrome.

Yes, he does make some points in this particular article.

I'm still ticked he's all for surrendering the country. His own ideology is hindering fighting terrorism.

If a known terrorist in Pakistan calls a number in Los Angeles, I want the government to know what numbers that person calls. Don't you?

Yes.

The President is unwilling to face the American public and openly state, "We will find the leakers and then I have ordered the Justice Department to prosecute, and if found guilty we will ask for the maximum penalty." Instead he mumbles about the damage being done to America in his fatuous aw-shucks Howdy-Doody way and wonders why nobody listens.

Ah yes, Ghostbusters, I LOVE that movie.

Real wrath-of-God-type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming from the sky! Rivers and seas boiling!

Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes! Volcanoes!

The dead rising from the grave!

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

I loved that movie too!!! As you do now I used to be able to quote pretty much the whole thing. Regardless many shugs and zules knew what it was like to roast in the belly of a sloor that day I can tell you. Hope it is accurate it was off the top of my head. And it doesn't seem to be as tall as it used to be.

"Good quote from Ghostbusters."

Only a partial one. What a good flick. I saw it the first weekend it opened. At the end the the whole audience jumped up and cheered. I knew it it was a classic then. The music was awesome too. I used to be able to recite the whole picture.

Hey Mort you dumbass...... Why did it take you so long to learn that real democrats hate war more than they love America?

Kerry the Democrat and his sidekick Hanoi Jane have been war hating traitors since childhood.

Bush-hatred has reached such intensity that CIA officers and other bureaucrats are leaking major secrets about anti-terrorism policy and communications intelligence that undermine our ability to fight Islamic extremism.
No, they do it because they are traitors who belong in a noose.
