Fine. Equip the border patrol with a fleet of crop-duster type planes and train some border patrol agents to fly them. They can be equipped with night vision video cams that transmit to a central coordinating point to send ground B.P. agents to intercept illegals.

[ I think your error is in assuming the President actually wants to do something about the shameful security situation on our southern border. As an attorney would say, that assumes facts which are not yet in evidence. ]

BINGO... Occams Razor DEMANDS this be true.. Dragging Bush to the border and his approval ratings Frog marching him to Congress.. is suspicious AT BEST.. The boy seems to be in pacification mode(chucking bones at the base)..
That is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH..

He could slam the border shut (or appear to) easily.. Call it Desert Training for the National Guard or recruits even.... with far more than 6000 troops.. Heck they may even stumble on some Undocumented Insurgents(Drug Mules).. in the training..

Wonder IF that is what hes afraid of?... i.e. Mena, Ar.. Clinton...

Great. National Security at the behest of unelected bureaucrats.
