Guy from "Progressive Policy Institute" is on CSPAN1 Washington Journal explaining the democrats plan for foreign policy and the WoT.
Should be interesting to see how long he can talk without saying anything... REPUBLICAN LINE (if you want to ask him a question, or correct him) (202)-737-0001

Darn! Missed the President. Summary of what he said? Thanks.
To: mathluv
When your choice is between him and a Landrieu - that's not much of a choice.
&&&&
Voters had a very blatant difference from which to choose - stupid or crooked
Interestingly they preferred incompetent to a rep from a known crooked family.

Well of course.
Though the Dem's have always called in the republican line.
They just call in now and go off the deep end on immigration or spending because they know its more effective that pretending to be a republican all upset about Halliburton.
I particular enjoyed the women who "voted for Bush two times" with the THICK Queens (NY) accent as "a republican from Texas"

He just stated that he had called and congratulated the new government leaders in Iraq. Very short, and very positive. Laura was standing by him, smiling.

Condi's on FNS, too. She looks mighty pleased.

The first caller was a far out moonbat - "governments are responsible for all terrorist activity. British Govt blamed IRA for the bombings in the UK. US planned 9-11, etc"
It was funny to see a far left guest have to say that Al Queda was responsible for the attacks on us.

I live an hour from LA, and try never to cross the border. I have heard so many stories of the corruption over the years. It is a shame that the choice came down to 'stupid' or 'crooked'.
hmmmmm. On second thought, sounds like a lot of our choices in politicians around the country.

Russert started the program by announcing the swearing in of the new prime minister in Iraq. Then he introduces Dr. Rice and questions her about the lack of other officials in the government...........''is that a problem''. Russet just can't compliment a victory by our government

Yes, if callers truly represented all the two time Bush voters, he should have won by a landslide.

It's a huge accomplishment and I'm so pleased for the Iraqi people.
The Black Caucus have spoken loudly in recent weeks about the crisis in Dafur and I'd love to ask them why people in Dafur are worth helping but Iraqi people are not.

:-) Last 2 days - Prez raised 17 million for GOP in 40 minutes & next day attended another fund-raiser in Virginia.
Cheney spoke in Louisians commencement & attended a fund-raiser.
First Lady attended a fund-raiser for Lincoln Chaffee (that is class).
Rove attended fund-raisers in Illinois ( at Fitz's backyard!).
