Kids, a mortgage, saving for retirement, are but a few of the things that can change ones view.

Paying income taxes - seeing how much of that first salary I "didn't get" was the "nail in the coffin" for me.

Of course, I was working part-time jobs since 13, so I was already well on my way . I knew what was coming, but reality has a way of forcing you to pay attention when it actually comes to pass.

yep, it was my first real paycheck that did it for me.

i was like WTF??? where did all my money go?

that's when i become a republican.

now after learning how things work i hate republicans too.

if only there was a real conservative group out there.
