Way to go Florida GOP. You've got a weak Dem incumbent, so you go out and pick the worst candidate you can possibly find??

READ THE ARTICLE -

Florida Republicans were unable to recruit a top-tier candidate to challenge Harris in the primary.

So it's Harris' fault that the GOP couldn't find someone to run against Nelson months before the filing deadline? Had they had, I would have overwhelmingly supported that person over Harris.

Wouldn't it make sense to put their resources behind Harris now instead of trashing her daily?

No, Harris should get no resources. They need to go to tight Senate races in NJ, MT, OH, and others.

Her high profile probably scared away good candidates who looked at name recognition as a key factor. I wished they had looked at competence as well.

Right!! The question should not be "does Harris have a chance" but "does Harris have a better chance than anyone else as of right now to beat Nelson?" Since Harris is the GOP candidate, we all need to forget what might have been and get on her bandwagon.

Let her spend that $10 million she pledged, then didn't pledge, whatever. Don;t throw good money down the toilet by supporting Harris. She thinks she is hot stuff - let her perform.
