Tell ya what- as of last week- Martinez voted WRONG on the Senate bill on illegal immigration (with McCain) and Nelson voted RIGHT.

Color me stunned...I was so amazed I call Nelson's office to tell him WTG and not to back down. Also called Martinez office..and the gal in the office tried to tell me I didn't understand...

Martinez is a strong ally of President Bush and stands with him on immigration issues--that's why he was pushed in the primary in 2004 by the White House.

Martinez is not up for re-election, but Nelson is. After the election, Nelson will revert to his normal liberal ways.
