It's actually a perpetuating cycle. The orphanages are overflowing and they kick kids out at the age of 18. What does a girl have to sell besides her body? Pregnancies lead to more unwanted children and the story continues. Throw in high rates of mortality from alcoholism, violence and crappy health care and it gets worse for young kids.
