"What we are facing is a planetary emergency. It's by far the most dangerous crisis by far that our civilization has ever confronted."Is that why gore took several SUVs, 500 yards down the road to view his movie at Cannes? It's SUCH a threat that he can't make the walk?

God I hope her CBS show tanks! She is certain to have a good start for the curiosity factor. I hope she fades in the stretch.
It won't cost her any money with that big contract, but it would sting.

So, with Algore's new movie out. And Bill Clinton saying we need to get off our fat butts and go after global warming which he claims is a greater menace to us than the WOT. I can assume from this that the Democrats have finally come up with an issue for 2008? "We will keep the ice from melting?"

Good thing I don't watch Katie Colonic in the morning. There's some people I can't bear to look at on TV.....Bill Klinton and Katie among them.
So I really appreciate your rundowns, GLGB.
Anyone that posts another pic of Perky that I have to view right now will be shot on sight. At least wait till I have my second cup of coffee.

"The scientific community has reached as strong a consensus as you will ever find in science."
... among those scientists whose livelihoods and research are based upon grants from groups that cannot brook any such opposing viewpoints, both political or scientific.

"many are saying global warming is in fact to blame..."
I am one who will agree that global warming exists, and is to blame for some of the catastrophic weather we are seeing...however....
It is clearly evident that the temperature of our globe has cycled and we are in yet another of those warm cycles...its not a man-made problem.
