(AP) Is President Bush likely to see Al Gore's documentary about global warming?

"Doubt it," Mr. Bush said coolly Monday.

But Mr. Bush should watch it, Gore shot back. In fact, the former Democratic vice president offered to come to the White House any time, any day to show Mr. Bush either his documentary or a slide show on global warming that he's shown more than 1,000 times around the world.

---snip---

The White House said Mr. Bush already has acknowledged the impact of human behavior on global warming.

"The president noted in 2001 the increase in temperatures over the past 100 years and that the increase in greenhouse gases was due to certain extent to human activity," said White House deputy press secretary Dana Perino.

"Since then he has committed tens of billions of dollars to the science and technology programs that he initiated and we are well on our way to meeting the president's goal of reducing greenhouse intensity by 18 percent by 2012," she said.

Gore wants to make President Bush see his film. Gee, AlGore, I wonder why President Bush might not give a cr*p about your offer. Could it have something to do with the fact that you are an unhinged lunatic who has accused him of betraying this country, amongst other slams?

Gore could always help the environment by giving up those gas guzzling SUVs he favors, and ride a horse for starters. He's already half way there, being the horse's that he is.

Algore was groomed for office by Al Gore Sr. And without attaining the presidency, he has let down his late father.

He still doesn't accept his loss (and recently appeared on Saturday Night Live as "The President").

He still doesn't realize the difference between theory and fact.

We can do more to decrease greenhouse gases by cutting down the size of the Washington bureaucracy and limiting the time for discussion in Congress.

Well he was a college professor, a diner chef, a slumlord, a network broadcaster...

It seems he can't find his niche in life.

He got as close as an asterisk on a Presidential run, and remember what Kurt Vonnegut depicted as an asterisk?

RR was a B-grade actor who went into politics. Algore is the B-grade politician who wants to try his hand at acting. Ah, the great ironies of life.
