Let's see. The swirling rumours are somewhat old ... they really pre-date the time when Stronach crossed the floor from Conservative to [whatever its called in Canada ... a liberal party] ... and then, in the last election ... Conservatives took power and Stronach's new BC induced party LOST power.

To any politician ... which would be more important? BC or political power? And, if the attraction was his fabled political savvy rather than something else .... Well .....

The public has always been willing to forgive Bill Clinton because he has a lot of charm, and most people have quite fond memories of prosperity during his Presidency.

Hillary has none of his charm and nobody thinks she had anything to do with the successes of the Clinton Presidency. Everybody knows they're not getting Bill Clinton back in Hillary.

After confering with their handlers at the DNC, the NYT etal have decided to blunt the issue of the Clinton's unorthodox marriage by getting it out early.

Yep. Probably larger now. They've been doing well recently. If I recall correctly, they do contract work for car and machinery parts, and they're poised to overtake the GM and Ford subsidiaries (or whatever the other big one is), if they haven't already.

Belinda is Canada's Jumpin' Jim Jeffords. She stabbed the Conservative party in the back. Just as I'm sure Jim is not happy now about his decision, I'm sure Belinda is not happy about hers after the Conservatives ascended to power.
