"No human being is illegal," says a Quaker organization that will spend much of Wednesday demanding "real solutions" to America's immigration crisis.
The group advocates a path to citizenship for people who came to this country illegally; it wants "worker rights" for future migrants; and "respect and protection of civil and human rights for all migrants and border communities."
On the other side of the debate, those who insist that people should not be rewarded for sneaking into the country illegally will visit Capitol Hill on Wednesday, hoping to change the minds of so-called "Amnesty Republicans."

"No human being is illegal,"
They are still human beings if they're back in Mexico, Canada, Poland, Uganda, etc.
Worthless, straw-man, heart-tugging argument. Americans (meaning natural born and naturalized citizens and legal residents) are not required to provide for the well-being of the whole world.
How about following our example of Liberty, hard work and innovation to lift yourselves up instead of pulling the rest of us down to a gutter-level common denominator so there will be "equality"!
SHUT UP QUAKERS. I WILL NEVER BUY YOUR OATS AGAIN!
The Quakers need to go to China, Cuba, Sudan etc etc..... Go bleep with those countries. Tell Castro to empty Holguin and Kelo 7.
BARF!
I guarantee that gringo human beings are illegal in Mexico. The mexican government will through illegal aliens in prison if they catch you working down there without appropriate visas. We should do the same and the employers of illegals should go to the slammer with them.
HA!
Good luck with that Mr. Quaker.
From the mouth of babes (another board with a younger subscriber set):
I notice Presidente Fox has substantially lighter skin color than the people he encourages to infiltrate America.
This here is the dealio. You gonna jack with the Mexico City Mafia? Don't make Fox git up on that armored horse and finish the job Cortez started. Tear down that wall Mr. Bush.
Hmmmmm....let's see....I've been illegal when I've parked for 5 hours in 1 hour parking; I've been illegal when I've driven at 75 mph in a 65 zone; I've been illegal when I was 20 and drinking beer in college (stumbling illegal).....do you think the Quakers would've jumped up to defend me in those cases?
Then again, living in the US is not a fundamental human right.
I hope...did you have to ask?
I wonder if the twits would change their tune if a bunch of folks started breaking into their houses to watch TV and eat, or set up camp in their yards...
