NIXON, NIXON, NIXON. I remember seeing the oval office broadcast on the subject, I couldn't drive at the time so I didn't really know the imapct, but it was Nixon.
Nixon left office in August of 2004. It's my understanding that the 70mph speed limit was still in effect.
