I understand your point, but right now I may just not vote at all. If there is no difference between a Dem Senate and Republican Senate why should I vote? Unfortuneately, thoses in the Senate supporting this bill are not up for election. Our only hope is we stall this into the mid terms and allow the House to have to run on the immigration issue. I think this would give all a real chance to see what America really wants to do. BTW, even Insane McCain would pay attention to the House elections.

Vote in the primary for a good Republican. If you don't have one in your area, send some money to one in a different district.

For example, here's a guy running against David Dreier who is right on this issue: http://sardoforcongress.org/

Vote for those that vote the way you wish or vote out those you dislike in primaries, but don't fail to vote. That gives the RATs (and we know how they voted) the edge.

Oh, but there IS a difference -- at least in most states. In Colorado, we've got a Republican senator, Allard, who is conservative in every way, and we've got a Democrat senator, Salazar, who is liberal in every way. I have no problem telling the difference between the two, and thank God for Allard.

In your state there might not be such a clear distinction, but if you stay at home and thereby let the Democrats take over the Senate, you've effectively taken away what little power Allard and others like him have. Imagine, just for starters, all Senate committees in the hands of Democrats.

Don't punish the courageous conservatives in the Senate by taking away their majority. Fight RINOs in the primaries, send your money to conservatives only, and fight Democrats (the real enemy) at every turn.
