No...you are quite wrong on that. Wind farms are a LOUSY idea. They provide very expensive electricity when and where it is not needed. Only COAL provides cheap on-demand electricity where and when needed.

Thanks for the reminder regarding on-demand...
Forgot to add to DTogo, most large wind farms need a peaking plant (gas or oil) for continual power.
