If only he had entered the fray two years ago. 20-20 hindsight. Nobody was debating much about illegal immigration laws two years ago. Two years ago we had a presidential election, continuing war effort, etc. The SS reform effort was getting under way. The Senate has just whipped this together recently and Rush was on it from the start. In fact, he started warning about a year ago, IIRC, about the exposure to republicans on the immigration issue.

you are incorrect when you said two years ago illegal immigration wasn't on the radar. It was number two on the radar (just behind the WOT) but the candidates (Bush & kerry) wouldn't address the issue nor would the media.
