More patrols planned for El Paso, Laredo El Paso Times Staff

The Minutemen are planning another large operation in Texas in October, organizers said.

The Dallas-based Texas Minutemen joined forces with Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project, to cover El Paso and Laredo in their volunteer patrols.

The organizers expect 325 to come to El Paso and 800 to Laredo. They call their operation "Eyes on Texas."

Hyperbole is saying that the Minutemen are required on the border to stop illegals.

My God but you're simple!

LOL. That's why they had those thousands of supporters in DC 2 weeks ago with all of the Congressmen making speeches at their rally? Oh wait, that didn't happen. They had 75 folks.

I just argue at the level of my competition.

Just curious but what do you actually care what they are doing? You are not paying their salary.

That is what is has done

They got what they said they wanted. The border is being militarized. They may not like the results though if they start making a nuisance of themselves. The military is not kind and gentle with anyone in their way.

I don't like their leaders. They are the just like Jesse Jackson. Jackson is a poverty pimp who never wants poverty eradicated, Simcox is a border pimp who will fade into obscurity if illegal immigration is ever stopped.

Your powers of discernment have failed you miserably, but in any case, you run the very real risk of underestimating your enemy. Near as I can tell Frogsforever, you're a one trick pony without a show.

I truly hate to point out the obvious, but your arguments are always circular. This being the latest example. If Simcox wants to stop the illegal invasion, wouldn't the logical conclusion be, if he achieve his goal, to just "fade away"? Duh.

Warms my heart to see American Citizens taking the lead and then watching as the "govt" scrambles to catch up. Actually stumble would be a better description for what Washington is doing these days.

This is what Govt OF the people is all about.

Leading by example.

Private citizens on another private citizen's ranch have the right to erect a fence if the owner of same would prefer as much. If they want to build the family a pool while they are there, they could do that, too.

As it happens, the MM will build a fence just 70 miles long, but fully a quarter the size of the "true" type fence (not just four line barb wire on bent over poles) that the government has been able to manage in the entire history of the country.

Here is were you will not answer, but go direct to personal remarks:

Q: Are you saying that the government has fulfilled all of its promises in previous border security and amnesty laws and provisions?

My answer would be that they have not. Therefore, a MM type patriotic effort, one that our Founding Fathers might join if alive today, is well worth our while and more important than re-electing ineffectual politicians of any party.

Unlike Libs they aren't stealing government (taxpayer) money to keep up the pressure.

God bless them

Tut,tut; clarifying the shower thing, word was you smelled like you hadn't had a shower in a couple months. The actual time could obviously be more or less.

I absolutely agree. That is why Texas Minutemen and the Minuteman Project do not work with simcox (actually it is the other way around) and his MCDC org. There are a lot of good folks out there that are trying to do some good work in MCDC, I do not fault them and to their credit they are finding out about simcox and his money games.

If anyone wants to really do some good, send donations over to Jim Gilchrist, the Founder of the Minuteman Project. It is going to take some real money to get an operation up and running in Laredo. The risk is high but those folks have had a full year to see the handwriting on the wall. Americans are not going to put up with this "free crime zone" we have for a southern border forever. Now the Minutemen are coming.

That is really good to hear. That leads me to believe that the Minutemen are policing their own.

You know honest to God, what's wrong with you? You are either the most clueless idiot or you are someone who has an interest in keeping the borders unsecure. God damn man, you're from Texas, you know better than most what is happening. Are you a useful idiot or something?!? SHAME.
