Murtha always sounds so hysterical. He mentions Pace but doesn't exactly accuse him of the coverup.
According to Murtha, the only thing that happened was an IED went off, killing a Marine. He says there was no firing from nearby houses, that the Marines just went in and killed people. Payments were made to the families and that requires authorization at the highest levels, he says. He says no one has done more for the troops than he has.
He called Gen. Pace a liar in an earlier interview.
