My Dad worked for McKesson & Robbins for many years, who were the American distributors for an obscure Eurpoean company called Biccardi. My dad was a Marketing genius, one of the top 20 people in the 20th century in America in Corporate Marketing. While he was with McKesson it was decided that they needed to come up with a drink to promote Baccardi Rum. They decided to call it the Harvey Wallbanger. My dad's comment was "who in the world would want to buy a drink called the harvey wallbanger?" Even geniuses have off days.
He also didn't think "Robitussen" was a good product name.
He did have the smarts to sponsor the CBS coverage of the moon landings with his next company. He just needed to deal with the big issues...
