In life we quite frequently are blessed with that which we did not ask for and conversely we don't get many of the things we would most dearly like.
It's a conundrum which has bedeviled mankind from our earliest days on the planet. (Sorry you ID folks, it's just a figure of speech.)
Mature adults learn to deal with this and not repeatedly ask petulantly phrased questions over and over again even when it has become painfully obvious to all concerned that no answer will be forthcoming.
I frequently have to explain this fact of life to my 11 year old when he is behaving, well; much like you are now. He is learning to deal with it pretty well. Hopefully some day you will as well.
