I wonder how many dopes on this board would admit to voting for Ross Perot for President of the United States, in 1992, when it was widely known that both he and his wife were on the board of Planned Parenthood of Dallas?

Yet, some of the same people are likely screaming because the guy who might be in charge of the coin purse likes to plant trees in his spare time.

I am one of the 1992ers, but back in 1992 most of us were at the mercy of the MSM, we didn't have Free Republic and other sites to get the background stories and us crossovers were so angry at 41 for lying to us that we voted that rage.

Call it what you want, I know what those votes wrought, but we didn't have a lot of choices then and we really have no clear choices now.

The problem isn't with the American people as much as with the choices were are not given to begin with. We will stand a whole lot, but American's don't like being mislead or lied to and the differences I'm seeing between 2000-2004 and 2004 - 2006 are not making me feel very comfortable, the problem is the other choice was a non-starter(in my mind) and he got 48% of the vote.
