FYI: I heard from a reliable source that Ms. Irey's campaign received well over 200 online donations from Saturday through noon yesterday. Pretty impressive over a holiday weekend, IMHO.

I have no idea what the total dollar amount is (nor do I need to know), but around here the average contribution seems to be about $25-35. You can do the math. The 200+ number and timeframe sounds about the same, or even stronger, than the numbers from when Murtha first started his latest anti-American barrage. So it seems as if the momentum is growing.

I've been sending appeals to my extensive email list asking them to help Diana Irey defeat Murtha.

And I also have a friend who sends an internet newsletter to over 1500 active & retired military. At my request, he's sent out info on her campaign and asked for support for her.
