Well Sam, who they going to use? Yahoo News purchased exclusive rights to most news sources. Use Yahoo, don't bother with Google for news.

The solution is simple. Tell Google they have to censor anti-U.S.content, block sites that we deem "subversive" and allow Bush administration "content supervisors" complete access to all of their data, or they can't do business in the U.S. They'll go for that, right? I mean, we're a pretty big market, and business is business.

That will happen if you google 'haditha massacre'.
You're getting the 'coverage' you asked for, don't blame Google.

False postivies.

What would you expect when you include the word 'massacre'?

If I looked up "naked pictures" when I wanted to see pictures of the moon, and being offended naked pictures came up would make no sense... no?

The googleAD system is certainly biased, but the search only returns results of WHAT YOU LOOK FOR.

Its kinda' like going to DU and being shocked at stupidity.

Search "haditha" only and if you got same results mabye... or "haditha incident" or "hadita inquery"

Notice the organizations that Google considers to be reliable media outlets for news on the "Haditha massacre":

Search engines list the websites with the most hits first and go down from there. The left is well aware of this. Their sites contain all the usual key words, and the engine picks them up easily. That sends people to their sites first, and gives the site a "hit."
If you want pro-American sites listed first, you'll have to get "activists" to start hitting honest (non-MSM) websites, other wise, the left will always get theirs first in line.
The left is rabid, and because they don't work they can spend all day trying to destroy the hand that feeds them. Picture the leftists home in their mothers basement seething over the death of their socialist revolution. These are the type of far out left wing kooks we're dealing with.

I neglected to mention another site Google presents as a legitimate news source:

A blog run by Jason Leopold's partner Chris Floyd, the Empire Burlesque - High Crimes and Low Comedy in the Bush Imperium.

(Floyd started EatCrowDotOrg with and for the liar Jason Leopold.)

You are uninformed.

Google has supposedly very strict requirements for listing as a news site -- as opposed to just being a blog site.

Google has recently kicked a number of "right wing" news sites off of their list, because of "hate speech."

Check out any article using Google news and you will see for yourself. There are a hundred leftwing sites for every so-called conservative site, such as National Review.

Er, do a Google search for "Haditha Marines" and you will get the same sources.

See my previous response.

Also, you are missing my point. Yes, they also list ABC News as a news source.

But how is it Google considers Indymedia, Chris Floyd and other such agit-prop blogs as "news outlets." They don't list many right wing blogs as "news outlets."

They have a blog search engine, you know.

There is possibly another solution. Which is to complain to Google.

Some claim that it was complaints to Google that got the Americ-hating terorist loving Howard Dean paid stooge The Daily Kos removed from their news listing.

Google News removes Daily Kos
http://underscorebleach.net/jotsheet/2004/12/google-news-removes-daily-kos

But Kos claims his site was removed at his own request.

In any case, it is worth a try. As I said, they have removed many a conservative site.

I was cruising radio stations in the car yesterday and guess who was on NPR's "Fresh Air"? There was Al Gore hawking his new "global warming" book/movie.

He also bragged about being on the board of directors of Google and Mac Computers. I found that interesting. That might also indicate some leanings at Google.
