La Raza's Own School in LA? (Interview with Marcos Aguilar)
KABC.com ^ | May 30, 2006 | Maribel Santiago

Posted on 05/31/2006 11:51:59 AM PDT by Nachum

On Brown vs. Board of Education, Topeka

"If Brown was just about letting Black people into a White school, well we don’t care about that anymore. We don’t necessarily want to go to White schools. What we want to do is teach ourselves, teach our children the way we have of teaching. We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don’t need a White water fountain. So the whole issue of segregation and the whole issue of the Civil Rights Movement is all within the box of White culture and White supremacy. We should not still be fighting for what they have. We are not interested in what they have because we have so much more and because the world is so much larger. And ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction. And so it isn’t about an argument of joining neo liberalism, it’s about us being able, as human beings, to surpass the barrier." - Marcos Aguilar, founder and principal of La Academia del Pueblo

La Academia del Pueblo is a L.A. charter school. It is funded by tax dollars along with funds from La Raza, and MECHA.

The School does not fly the American flag, it flies a communist flag. They are overtly racist and teach their brand of racism to children, grades K- 8.

Doug McIntyre spent over 2 hours on this school this morning on KABC radio. This charter school & Aguilar are unbelievable. He will have more on it tomorrow morning.

Nachum, you can post this stuff until you're blue in the face, there are people who are determined to ignore the implications no matter what.

What you reported here should not be allowed, but it's the kind of thing that is representative of the severity of the problem we face.

It's been shocking to me to see people who professed to be Pro-U.S. now have their agendas striped of all the subtrifuge so they can say, "This doesn't and other problematic items don't mean a thing. Bull ----! They sure do.

This is a matter of national security. Ahhnold should sign an executive order ordering this friggin' madrassa to be shut down, and if he doesn't do it, GW should. I don't care how many 'rights' of the scumbags that run it get trampled -- it should immediately be shut down, and all its administrators and 'teachers' arrested and charged with treason and insurrection.

I say again, the problem with racism and seperatism is money. Remove the financial benefit, we remove the problem.

What happens when it's time to teach math and science?

Kinda tough to teach scientific method and logical thought without acknowledging, somewhere along the line, that peoples outside of the sacred Raza contributed quite a bit to scientific development.

Do they plan on teaching non-white math, whatever that means...?

I was looking for it on their website but couldn't find it, but McIntyre mentioned this morning that they are teaching a Base-20 math system. Real useful in the non-Aztlan world.

Huh. Seems to me that to be consistent with a policy of divorcing their reality from the white man's, they ought to follow through in education as well.

Base-20 math is a start, I suppose. They might eschew the use of wheels as well. And I wonder what marvellous forms of air conditioning, communications, and electricity they use that are in accordance with traditional ways?

The problem with McIntyre as a spokesman for sanity is that he's nutty as a bedbug himself and wrapped up in so much bipolar anger and hostility and sheer Hate Americanism that he's simply the wrong guy to lead anyone's parade.

In his own way, he is as destructive in his hate and vitriol as any of the "Frito Bandito Crazies" who are planning the overthrow of the Southwestern USA States.

He'a merely adding fuel to the already out-of-control fire and should be relieved of his duty immediately.

Well I can see how you would want to keep your culture. How bland the world would be without your illegal spawn spray painting buildings with gang tags. We know what a technological giant Mexico is and would not want to lose that. We know what an economic juggernaut Mexico is an would not want to lose the millions of jobs it created? We know all the breakthroughs in medical science which we spawned in the feted waters of Mexico.

Yeah you stupid crimmigrants, the white people are evil. Unfortunately they seem to be leading the way as long as socialists and communists like you stay the hell out of the way.

Hate Americanim? I beg to differ. For the most part, he has been a strong advocate for America as far as I can tell. I would not argue about his bipolar anger, but he is no Michael Savage. He makes very strong arguments that he backs with evidence. He even confronted our current mayor about his MECHA membership in college. McIntyre is a formidable debater who makes a lot of sense. His rants do become dificult to listen to though just because he is almost always angry about something.

From the show this morning:

Sandy Wells, the reporter who went to the school to get information on it actually received a very thinly veiled threat of violence from the principal himself. Said he should "watch his back." When Wells pressed him what he meant by that, the principal said something like "oh, well, I've been receiving threats around here, so it might not be safe for you."

This is the url for spending and pork:

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/cpquery/?sel=DOC&&item=&r_n=hr401.108&&&sid=cp108fShsa&&refer=&&&db_id=cp108&&hd_count=&

--$5,000,000 for the National Council of La Raza HOPE Fund, of which $500,000 is for technical assistance and fund management and $4,500,000 is for investments and financing as proposed by the House. The Senate did not propose funding for this program;

Calcowgirl and nilcmarlo also found sites stating that the American taxpayer is funding La Raza.

I listen to Doug for two hours every day on my way to work. Doug has a very, very extensive knowledge of American history and the founding fathers. He also has deep knowledge of American Presidents - all presidents, not just the "popular" ones. His stepson is also serving in the military, and I believe is on his way to Iraq. I don't agree with everything he says, but he is far from un-American. He has been out front and tireless on the illegal immigration issue.
