San Antonio – Operation Completion will be making their next stop in San Antonio this coming Saturday at HemisFair Park. In the area around the Gazebo supporters of the military and reconstruction in Iraq will gather showing their enthusiastic support for the troops deployed in the War on Terror.

Entertainment is being provided by The Right Brothers, an All-American band from Nashville, Tennessee with their rock-country music style with messages of hope and American pride. TRB guitarist, Frank Highland, summed up the purpose of the rally by saying, “We hope to inspire pride in our military and hope for the future of our country and others pursuing freedom.”

Speakers will include former state representative Rick Green, Operation Completion founder Micah Derry, MC and Take a Stand host Adam McManus, and a veteran from Iraq will speak on a soldier's perspective of the war.

The rally will start at 5pm at the Gazebo in HemisFair Park this Saturday, June 3rd. Admission is free and all are welcome to come and show their support for the troops in the field.

Sounds good. I would love to join you, but I will be in Dallas this Saturday for the baptism of my twin grandsons.

Congratulations on the pending baptism!

I am in Virginia, so unfortunately will not make this troop support event either, but I thought you might know of some FReepers down in that area. I mean, it's such a small state and all... :-)

I'm not sure if you're near but there's one in Richmond, VA on 8-2-2006.

And if you're not, then you should be! Unless it's as important as Basil's baptisms, you should be at the Republican Party of Texas Convention, right there at the Convention Center, at Hemisfair Park!

Thanks for the heads up, Coop. I had my nephew's birthday today but I have friends in San Antonio that I hope attended and will get in touch with them later for details.
