I think the MSM has a lot to answer for. We are continuously receiving offers of gifts and tremendous discounts if we will subscribe to Time or Newsweek, and I continuously tear them to shreds. I refuse to allow either piece of trash in our home.
When I get those, I write a nasty message on the slip and return it to them in their very own pre-paid envelope. I have a kind of peace about it. ;^)
