Forgot to include that part. Two incomes, no kids. That would imply that they also have more disposable income to donate to their favorite politician/political party and be more politically active too (no time constraints from children).

The world would surely be a better, more tolerant place if big companies openly courted gays and lesbians, using their corporate clout to change public opinion.

You mean the way Exxon used its corporate clout to change public opinion about making honest profits in the oil business? ;)

Leave that kind of opinion-making to politicians, media figures, musicians, and actors - they are the only ones with egos large enough to think that their opinions can save the world.
