Does not sound that an unusal expression to me.
Though I suppose more likely the expression would be:-
"I have got to where I ......" or
"I have got to the point where I ....."
Yes his number one priority must be to serve and keep America safe and prosperous but he also know that there is life beyond the White House and it is important to also at times focus on that or else it is easy to let that slip away. Many men and women in public life have done that and found when the time to go back to private life comes there is not one to go back to.
I have looked through the photos of the last month and despite all that has been thrown at him IMHO it is obvious he still has his sense of humour and perspective which I am certain is the grounding of his faith and family life.
Here are 4 photos taken within the last calendar month which IMHO rank among some of the best of him showing the warmth and fun side to his character and which I am certain in time may well become new favourites.
Yes it important to pray for his protection and well being but sometimes I think we can get bogged down in what is being thrown at him and feel and project our feelings to him.
I hope that the following photos serve to show that as we well know he has the character, backbone and spirit to overcome the mindless attacks and we should not get dispirited but realise that there is a power greater than us that enables both us and him to overcome these attacks.
Thanks, snugs! I agree it is important to avoid projecting our own feelings onto the President. It is also very necessary to pray for him, which I do daily. Your pictures and words were a great encouragement to me this morning...thanks again!
My favorite picture of our President and Laura is the one taken when they were boarding a plane - there is a rainbow behind them. It was during the first campaign I think. Also, taken on that same day was a picture of algore and his enabler = dark clouds behind them :-)
Yesterday, three more little kittens were found by the guards thrown in the trash near the service entrance on the property. After having them checked out by a vet, it looks like they are from a different litter than the first two. The three rescued yesterday are around four weeks old.
I have them at my house and have been struggling with getting them to eat and do their business. For this reason, and because there are no new photos of GWB, I'm going to skip doing a full Dose today and will do it tomorrow instead.
