Has the vet recommended some kind of formula milk or are they on solids?
*** hope that the following photos serve to show that as we well know he has the character, backbone and spirit to overcome the mindless attacks and we should not get dispirited but realise that there is a power greater than us that enables both us and him to overcome these attacks.***
Snugs, your post from this morning is perfect. He is an inspiration to us. We back him up here on FR (at least those of us here do), but we have to pray for this good man, too.
For all of us who love animals, I thought I'd post these.
Barney is one spoiled pup.
Re: This begs a caption but I lack the words. Too cute.

NEWS THAT WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE:
RASMUSSEN puts the President's JA rating at 42% today -- with 76% approval from Republicans!!
[I wonder if the FR one-issue wackos will laud this number as much as they did the 66% approval from Republicans a few weeks back . . . NOT! Bottomline: As I have indicated MANY times before, FR uber-cons (and rushhannityingrahamsavageetal) do NOT represent the Republian base!]

A GREAT COMMENTARY POSTED AT THE AMERICAN THINKER:
WHAT BUSH NEEDS NOW IS YOUR PRAYERS
George W. Bush is having a rough second term. Thats the impression even among his supporters. The drive-by media is doing its best to make sure the President feels the pressure of his low poll numbers, by highlighting them daily. And members of Congress in the Presidents own party are at odds with him various issues and legislation. This lends to the overall feeling of an embattled national leader. What can help? How about prayer?
Bush once said this:
I am sustained by the prayers of the people of this country. I guess an appropriate way to say this, its one of the beautiful things about America and Americans from all walks of life is that theyre willing to pray for the President and his family. And thats powerful.
Sure, during the 2000 presidential race, in the aftermath of 9/11, and again during the re-election campaign of 2004, Bush supporters prayed daily that he might have sustaining strength, heavenly wisdom, peace in his heart and protection for his body. But now, into the middle of this second term, have many of those prayers ceased?
This is not the time to grow weary in well doing. We are a nation at war. Though they are losing, our enemies have not laid down their weapons. Neither should we. America has always had prayer as its greatest asset in times of trial.
Many of us have our own problems. We pray stridently to persuade God to bring his touch to every aspect of our lives. What we fail to realize in abandoning prayer for our national leader is the damage that can affect all of us if we do. As mentioned, enemies of good do not cease in their march toward mayhem and destruction. These enemies, both foreign and domestic, need to be bridled and defeated by prayer.
To help remind us of the daily fight is a website called The Presidential Prayer Team. From the groups brochure:
Imediately following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, a rapidly growing group of believers responded to a simple call to prayer. Today more than three million people are participating in prayer together
The Presidential Prayer Team is not a political or partisan organization. We are simply a group called together to pray for our President, because whoever holds that office desperately needs those prayers
and our nations future depends on our prayers.
When I visited the site recently, I was asked to
Pray for the President as he makes remarks on immigration reform and border security this morning
Pray for the members of the cabinet as they hold their monthly meeting today
Theres also a section to Adopt our Troops in Prayer. Additionally, the site provides inspirational quotes and hymns, and a section for faith in the news.John Lind, the President/CEO of PPT, says
while prayer may have been removed from the public arena by court rulings, it can only be removed from our hearts and lives by our failure to commit and follow through in the matter of daily prayer
Let us covenant together to do all that is humanly possible to support our President, our nation, and our military.
Like Moses in the Bible, our national leader can only continue to be victorious in battle if the people lift up his arms and pray. Ill take this opportunity to apologize to President Bush because Im one of those people who relaxed in prayer for him following the election of 04. That was a mistake. Evil doesnt rest. Neither should the righteous. Thats why Im grateful to The Presidential Prayer Team for their daily reminder to touch the glory of heaven and bring it to earth.
God bless America.

That's about the most perfect photo deal for a toaster I could ever hope for.
You SEE why I had such a hard time choosing!
Thank you, Eleanor, for all you do to keep the toasters coming. =)
Thank you! Even the Sanity Island Governors need to eat. (Toast, that is.)
We talk frequently on the Pray for President Bush thread about 'lifting up our President's arms' in prayer, as was done for Moses.
This battle is great, and President Bush has not wearied........neither should WE!
Thanks SO much for those links, Deb!
And thanks for the IN YOUR FACE poll numbers for the FR naysayers. God BLESS President Bush!!
Most definatly!
Always extra happy I am when the
Dose Daily pic main Posters get the Toaster!
Rumor has it he also likes PB&J. During his first campaign, I heard somebody on the plane ate his sandwich, and he got mad.
Does anyone know if he's a strawberry jam guy?
I've always had a certain amount of respect for the man in the Oval Office, although I lost quite a bit for #42 after the whole Monica thing. President Bush is in a different league entirely. He's the first president I actually love and admire for his leadership.
I think we all saw a great example of Bush at his best just this week when he invited the families of United 93 for lunch. Unlike some politicians, he didn't have this all over the news like "ooh, look at me, aren't I a great humanitarian." He did it quietly, because that's the kind of person he is.
We were sucessful with a baby squirrel but not a baby rabbit. Yet we did all most the same thing with them. rub their belly after eatting and every half hour down by the groin. Mama licks there and that's what stimulates them to go. Also, we had them on a heating pad wrapped with a bath towel set on medium.
Wal-Mart has baby kitten formula..
