A 12-year old survivor of the alleged massacre of innocent civilians by U.S. Marines patrolling Haditha has admitted she had prior knowledge of the plot to detonate an IED as their convoy was passing by her house on the morning of Nov. 19, 2005.
In a CNN interview broadcast Wednesday, Safa Younis - who says eight members of her family were killed by U.S. troops - recalled that she was getting ready for school as the Marine Humvee approached.
"I was planning to go to school. I was about to go out of bed. I knew the bomb would explode so I covered my ears," the youngster said, according to a CNN translator.
"The bomb [then] exploded," she explained. "The bomb struck an armored vehicle. I don't know if it was a Humvee or an armored vehicle. When the bomb exploded, they came straight to my house."
Younis complained that after the bombing killed Lance Cpl. Miguel Terrazas, his fellow Marines broke down the front door of her house.
"The American forces entered the house and started shooting with their guns. They killed my mother and my sister Nour. They killed her when she shot her in the head. She was only 15 years old. My other sister was shot with seven bullets in the head and she was only 10 years old."
The Haditha co-conspirator continued:
"And my brother Muhammad was hiding under the bed when the U.S. military hit him with the butt of the gun and the started shooting him under the bed. The U.S. military then shot me and I was showered in blood. We couldn't leave the house because the U.S. military surrounded the area with a large number of soldiers."
Younis said she survived by pretending to be dead.
But the "innocent" Haditha 12-year-old failed to give any further details about which other family members knew about the bomb plot. Or whether one of her relatives had detonated the blast.
Like Al-qaeda, they learn methods and communication style from movies and liberal talk show compassion-speak. 911 was nothing more than a movie production for political impact.
In the religious wars of our time, civilians are used for production of a movies with maximum political influence.
This was a LOS IED (which means the detonator was close by...and very well could have been in one of these houses) - It is clear this family was aware of this planted IED...and knew exactly when it was going to go off. That speaks volumes.....especially when one understands Haditha, and how the Marines working this city know much more ground level Intel then any of those reporting on the place do.
We have now learned the doctor who examined the bodies was also apparently arrested prior by U.S forces (for being supportive of insurgents) and thus clearly had an axe to grind (one could easily speculate).
There is much more to all of this then everyone is aware of yet....but without question these Marines deserve the benefit of the doubt.

This whole thing stinks of a pre-Hollywood movie gone bad.
Yes, how kind of them. Every time they do this, we can count on another day of bombs going off in Baghdad and elsewhere.

What strikes me as odd here is that she knew it was going to happen. That means that either she is lying, OR, that the Marines are "on a schedule" with these routs. If the former, then 'nuff said. If the latter however, then who the hell's in charge over there ensuring that routes are regular and that they occur at about the same time daily?
That's the very first thing in the intelligence business that they tell you to avoid, regular schedule an patterned behavior!

You may well be on to something with your analysis that media whoredom for democrap party cannot allow Iraq to stabilize ... and that is the exact same modus operendi of the Sunni Terrorists, especially in places like Haditha! If anyone doubts your assertion is credible, point them to media whoredom's advocacy 'reporting' of the democrat's defense of partial birth abortion ... media whoredom has zero moral structure and is self-directed to serve the democrap party agenda.

Have you seen the video of this girl's testimony? She is sitting on a couch next to a young man who looks like his hands are cuffed behind him. When the camera zooms in he nods his head to put the camera on the little girl. No staging there. Yeah, right.

This girl supposedly knew a bomb was in her house, and that it was going to go off, but she's supposedly getting up to get ready for school like it's another totally normal day?
What, bombs were planted in her house every day, and snipers, and terrorists working out of her home as a base? That's the ONLY way that type of insanity would be "normal"
Often IEDs are the starting event for ambushes and this house may have been bristling with weapons pointed out for such an ambush. Our Marines don't attack a specific house for no reason, believe that before you believe the media whoredom propaganda. Marines are trained, not merely book schooled ... these are Marines. MARINES.
