I'm not so sure that the GOP is "going down the tubes". What seems to be happening in many cases all over the country is that conservatives are getting stronger, and RINOs are walking a thinner line.
I hope you're right. Of course that requires true conservatives to be on the ballot in November--while the electorate may be getting less "RINO," I'm not sure politicians are. For some reason they seem to always have a lust for the moderate middle. Whatever the hell that is.
